24. To Brunico

Tour

Start from the Berghotel in Sesto via the cycle path to San Candido, in the direction of Baranci/Industrial Zone, past the Senfter factory. Before the railway crossing, continue straight on to the left. The cycle path that leads to Dobbiaco now begins. From there, continue straight ahead on the cycle path to Villabassa. Shortly before the campsite, you cross the road and railway line through a subway, then cross the road again at the end of the village. Continue along the cycle path to Monguelfo, from where you continue towards the Valdaora reservoir. Shortly after the lake, you reach a tarmac road that leads through the entire village. From Valdaora, the route continues to Perca. Then it goes through a few tunnels until you reach Brunico.The return journey to San Candido is by train from Brunico or Brunico Nord station. The last stretch from San Candido to Sesto is on the cycle path.

Tip: Alternatively, you can also start the tour in San Candido at the railway station.
