The cable cars in the holiday region Three Peaks/3 Zinnen in the Dolomites take you up to five most popular mountains: Monte Elmo, Orto del Toro, Croda Rossa, Monte Baranci and Comelico (Col d'la Tenda ), all of which offer hikers, bikers and families plenty of exciting attractions.
Experience everything with a single ticket: With the (multi-)day „3 Zinnen Mountain Card you can enjoy unlimited use of all the lifts in the Three Peaks Dolomites and experience five mountains according to your own preferences. The card is also really useful for bikers as bike transportation on the cable cars is included in the price.

The entertaining alpine circuit for the entire family
Our perfect summer highlight: The entrance to the new nature park is right next to the Helm-Bahnen mountain station an invites visitors to meet Olperl's best friends - in the realm of the animals mountain world. The circular trail is 1.5 km long and is siutable for buggies. As you walk, you´ll come across 10 special and very exciting places - with fantastic views fo the Sesto Dolomites. Olperl, the hoaxster with luminous eyes as big as saucers, keeps you company along the trail.

The highest barefoot taril in the Dolomites at 2,150 m above sea level is the healthy and enyoable way to explore Olperl's Nature Park. Soft moss, fragant larch trees, stone slabs and shingle stimulatehe foot reflex zones, before you immerse your feet in the cool spring water - so refreshing.

Baranci is the popular mountain for family excursions. The 4-seater chair lift is situated 3 minutes from San Candido village centre and takes you quickly to an altitude of 1,500 m. Flowering meadows and lush green pastures provide a wonderful playground for young and old: There are waiting highlights like the children's highlight adventure trail, a tubing run and the fun bob. The mountain station is the starting point for many easy and medium hikes through spruce forests and up to the Baranci summit with stunning views of the Three Peaks.
Reindeer? In the Alps? Who'd have thought it? But our hers of reindeer have actually made the long journey from Finland to Croda Rossa and the third generation are now living here! You can be there when the only reindeer herd in the Alps is being fed and pick up lots of interesting and curious facts about hte peculiarities of ths particular deer species. The friendly four-legged friends are looking forward to your visit.
Very close to the ‘giant’s footprint’ lakes by the Rifugio Gigante Baranci at San Candido, you’ll find hidden away an alpine recreation area, a wonderful place to unwind - and now with a new attraction: the Dwarf Village. High up in the branches there are quaint tree houses which can you can explore via ladders and rope bridges. The life of a dwarf is reflected in the nine mountain huts below.

Weekly program Three Peaks Dolomites
In the Dolomites, there are perfect conditions for families with children This applies especially if the parents intend to spend the holidays with their children, rather than relaxing and getting away from them. We recommend you to visit the Adventure Park at Dobbiaco, the Wildlife Park at Assling/Austria or the playground “Adventureland” at Villabassa and obviously one of the many hikes with the whole family in our Dolomites.
Family summer activities in the Dolomites
The Berghotel offers the perfect starting point for many tours in motorcycle in the Dolomites. It doesn't matter if you prefer twisty passes or nice mountain streets - there are a lot of possibilities for every kind of biker – from the classical Dolomites Pass to hidden streets in Austria and the Veneto. Only 500m from Berghotel is the “Kramerhof” Farm with the riding stable Tschurtschenthaler (Tel. 0039 0474 710223). The riding stable offers guided rides on “Noriker” horses for adults and children and beautiful sledge tours in the Fischlein Valley.
With the mountain funiculars of the Three Peaks Dolomites (Monte Elmo, Croda Rossa, Baranci and Orto del Toro) you can reach easily the most beautiful places in the Three Peaks Dolomites, Three Peaks Dolomites. They bring you to excellent starting points of many hikes, so you save in medium 1,5 h (700 m) and the tours are getting more easier and doable for everybody.
The first summer toboggan run in South Tyrol is located at the Baranci/San Candido. With a length of 1.739 m and an altitude differential of 314 m is fun guaranteed for young and old. At the upper end there is a real children paradise with incredible possibilities to play and have fun for children and adults.
The climbing garden in the Innerfeld Valley offers fun with a wonderful view to the Dolomites. In the surroundings you have a big choice of climbing gardens. Besides, the indoor climbing hall „Dolomiten Arena“ with 16,5 meter of height is one of Italy’s highest halls.
Lake of Braies/Lago di Braies, Lake of Dobbiaco/Lago di Dobbiaco, Lake of Anterselva/Lago di Anterselva – these are the most famous natural lakes in the Three Peaks Dolomites, Dolomites of Sexten. In every season of the year the lakes are special places – absolutely worth visiting!
Sesto and the Three Peaks Dolomites, Dolomites of Sexten offer also a big variety of culture. You have the possibility to visit the Museum Rudolf Stolz, the church of Sesto with its very special cemetery, the Romanic church of San Candido …
Culture activities in the Three Peaks Dolomites
To have a break in one of the numerous mountain huts is always special. To indulge oneself a typical Tyrolean dish or a “Marende” is the perfect compensation after a tiring tour and the best is a nice cold beer on the terrace of the hut.
The Three Peaks Dolomites, Braies and Cortina are perfect for this sport. Strada degli Alpini, Ferrata Zandonella, Monte Paterno, Roghel, Strobel ect. let the heart beats fast to every climber. There is no region with such a huge concentration of vie ferrata as in the Three Peaks Dolomites and Ampezzo.
