Weather in Sesto in South Tyrol

The influence of a low-pressure system is causing unsettled conditions. A cold front will move across the Alps overnight.

In the afternoon, only the odd rain shower will pass through, with dry spells predominating. However, it will remain heavily overcast, with sunny spells being rare. Overnight, as the cold front moves through, the rain showers will become more frequent again and the snow line will drop to around 1.500 m.
During the day, temperatures range between 12° and 16°.

It is mostly overcast with frequent showers, which become less frequent in the afternoon. During the day, snow falls only in the high mountains above 2.600-2.800 m. As the cold front passes through, the snow line will drop to 1.500 m overnight. Strong southerly winds will blow at higher altitudes; as the night progresses, strong northerly winds will pick up in many places and temperatures will fall significantly.

A temporary high-pressure system is bringing significantly drier air masses from the west into South Tyrol.

In most valleys, it will be dry from early on with a cold north wind; the last showers in the upper Puster valley and the Dolomite valleys will soon ease off. At the same time, the clouds will clear from the Vinschgau valley, and the sun will subsequently break through across a wide area.
Temperatures will rise to 10° in the Wipptal valley, where the Föhn is blowing, and up to 18° in the lowlands.

Until late morning, lingering snow showers are still expected, particularly in the Dolomites and along the main alpine crest east of the Brenner Pass. Elsewhere, it will be dry, and the sun will soon break through from the west. The strong north wind will weaken noticeably as the day progresses. It has cooled down significantly.

Saturday will start off mostly cloudy, but it will clear up later on and the sun will shine, at least at times.
Sunday is expected to be mostly cloudy, with occasional showers in the northern parts of the region.
On Monday, there will be a pleasant mix of sun and clouds, and it will remain dry.
