16. MTB tour to Nemes alp to the Croda Rossa

A wonderful half day tour on the feet of the natural sundial of Sexten Start at the Berghotel to Sexten/Sesto to the church and up the paved road to the Mitterberg/Monte di Mezzo – Panorama. At the Ex Fortress turn right and steep up to the place called “Negerdorf/Sette Baracche” and then on an easy gravel road in direction Nemes Alm/Malga Nemes. Ca. 2 km before the Nemes at the crossing to Kreuzbergpass/Passo Monte Croce turn right and on a wooden path towards the Pass. Here 200 m on the road towards Moos/Moso and then turn left up following path nr. 18 to the Rotwandwiesen/Prati di Croda Rossa. Here you find huts for eating and drinking. Back to the valley on the sledge slope and back home to the Berghotel.
