8. Demutpassage

Start at the Berghotel in Moos to the church of Sesto and up there on the paved road to Panorama, the Lärchenhütte/Rifugio Larice (the road has become gravel) and the Helmrestaurant. Here turn right to the Hahnspielhütte/Rifugio Gallo Cedrone and further on to the Sillianer Hut which stays already in Austria. Further on path 403 following always the “Stoneman” sign till the cemetery of WW I. In some parts carry of push the bike. From here down path nr. 14 for ca. 500 m and then left on a narrow and exposed trail for ca. 7 km more or less on the same level until the Kniebergsattel/Passo Silvella. Only for expert bikers. From the saddle down to the Nemes Alp and further on to the Kreuzberpass/Passo Monte Croce. From here following the river back home.
